I bought this guitar on-line from MF for $99 shipped just to get the body for a project for our singer. However, IMO the color is not what was advertised. What say the experts as to this color. My guess is Surf Green which is a bit lighter than Sea Foam Green.

IIRC the affinity series are the only Fender guitars outside of the custom shop that offer Daphne Blue.
My old Fernandes, a yellowed Daphne Blue, looks like that.
IMO, it's seafoam green
my US 62 ri tele was that color
(FUNNY THING IS I BOUGHT THE GUITAR JUST FOR THE COLOR B/C IT'S NOT A STANDARD COLOR ON STAND FENDERS....which is a perfect reason for fender to offer it on it's cheapest line.)

Well, looks like 'Surf Green' to me, but was advertised as 'Daphne Blue.' I guess all is well because my singer didn't care and looks like his old Indian Squire II neck is too narrow in the heel (2 & 1/16) for this neck pocket (2 & 3/16) anyway. Back to the drawing board. I do think I will keep and 'mod' this thing though. With new tuners, PUs, PG and bridge - it'll be a decent guitar for $100 or so total...
That does not look Daphne Blue to me. Probably closer to Surf Green, as Seafoam is a little darker.

Yup, Erock and I were right. It's surf green.
So, it looks like Daphne requires a mint guard whereas Surf requires a white guard...?
Well, it's not like a reissue or anything; it has a white, single-ply, beveled, 11 screw pickguard on it. I'd be interested in a shot of the headstock to see if it has a walnut plug or not.
The pics that Marcondo posted look like a Daphne Blue Relic, which would have a darker p/g (being aged), & the Surf Green strat is more like a Closet Classic model or maybe an American Vintage, which sports a mint green 'guard as well, but in better shape & more grey looking.

I have '57 Vintage Reissue in Daphne Blue. After many nights in a smoled fillled bars it has turned a shade of green not unlike Surf Green but a bit lighter. Looks way cool.
Whatever color it is, I think it looks great!
