Sunday afternoon and coffee
trying to get back into this thing. winter is stubbornly releasing its grip here. we finally broke 50 degrees for the first time in 3 days. now if the wind would let up a bit it wouldn't feel so cold.
hoping to see a luthier about my bass neck some time in the near future, gave a call to Mouradian Guitars in Winchester MA. If anybody has any suggestions for luthiers in the southern NH / northern MA area let's hear them. I'm dubious as to the effectiveness of heat treatment so I don't know if the guys at the Music Mill's place in Manchester have the chops I'm looking for or not. If you or your bass player has had a Dreaded S Curve in their bass neck treated, how did they fix it?
Speaking of coffee, I finished the leftover from yesterday, fell asleep and woke up to write this post. Off to brew a new fresh pot of java.
Re: Sunday afternoon and coffee
My son was home this weekend, which always makes Papa happy. We had a lot of fun. I made a skillet of biscuits this morning that were light and fluffy and delicious. Of course we had gravy too, and we had a realization that gravy is just really liquid biscuits with a little pepper thrown in.
We also did a job throwing away stuff and cleaning the garage. I just threw away 10 years worth of pedal and amplifier boxes.
Planning on dedicating two hours today to learning something--Doc gave me some pointers about how to improve my playing. Going to get into that stuff a bit now.
Also going to spend an hour doing some writing.
Hope you all are having a great day.

My son and I spent all day at the Supercross at Metlife Stadium yesterday. What a wonderful day! I'm spending today getting some rest and catching up.
