Woah - I think that worked first time! Not the best pics in the world but was trying out my sister's new digi camera.
Ok "54" is:-
USA CG alder body, 3T vintage sunburst in thin nitro kindly sold to me by our own Tonebender - thanks a million, again!
USA CG 54 profile maple/pao ferro (Thanks Tommy if you're reading - I'll send some better pics for your site), 10-16" radius, 6105 frets, Earvana nut, Sperzel staggered height locking tuners, twin roller string trees
Callaham bridge, jack socket and plate, trem arm, neck plate and all screws
Kinman Blues pickups, CTS pots, CRL switch, cloth wiring, Hovland 0.15mf cap
Stewmac (I think) 8-hole matt black pickguard
I started out with a US Traditional Strat (not too many around - a mix of Mex and US parts assembled in the US) and then started modding. Finally only the body was original and when I saw the new body for sale here I knew it would be perfect. Now I can put the original one back together and start again!
Classic Strat tone with extra low mids. Punchy, sustains for days, great for SRV...
The LP "Ti"
02 Standard, Desertburst, Burstbucker Pros, 50's neck
Graphtec nut (to be changed for tusq soon)
Tonepros bridge and ali tailpiece, top wrapped
CTS 510k+ audio taper pots, Angela caps, 50's wiring (cloth)
Amber knobs and switch tip
Sounds just like an LP should to me.
My sincere gratitude to all the great folks here (and the LPF) who have shared their knowledge and enabled me to put together these guitars.
I still suck at playing, but I love my guitars. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks folks. Actually, the Strat looks better in the flesh than in the photo. It has subtle grain that you cannot see here.
The Desertburst is far and away my favorite LP colour. Way more refined than the gawdy bright red to yellow on outrageous flame that you see so often now. Under the bright lights in the shop you could only really see the flame in the centre, but it covers the whole top in an understated way. I feel I really lucked out as there was only this one and a banana necked 60's Classic in the only shop in town with Gibsons.

Me like the strat! I was wondering what that writing was on the pups...

That LP is especially sweet. What does "Ti" mean?

Short for Tiger - my lady helps name my guitars, but being Chinese sometimes she can't remember the correct English word. "Looks like a ti..., um, a ti... a tiger!"Originally Posted by NeoFauve
Your Schecstrat looks great - I love natural finishes and want to do a Tung Oil Tele soon. What are the holes in the middle of the pickups? For wax potting?

Ah, Tiger. I get it. I thought it was special model.
RE the pickup holes: I'm not sure what they're for. They are wax potted. I've had that guitar so long, I guess little details slip right past me sometimes.
