I have a real weakness for the odd and really cool, and man, these amps are hittin' me hard. Someone tell me they don' sound good. At least then I wouldn't have such bad GAS!

Kinda cool, but even though it says lacquer, it looks like there's the 1/4" thick poly they put on the tables at Marty's Seafood.
Several guitars in different colors
Things to make them fuzzy
Things to make them louder
orange picks
The 3 last ones use oil finish. Not too bad. :)
tre-hip
very cool
Damnit!! Why did you have to give it to me too? I swear G.A.S. is contagious

Which end do the pop-tarts pop out of when they're done?

Damn it RC! I didn't look any further then the first few because I felt myself starting to slip immediately! I still owe you one for the Heritage Blues Deluxe GAS!

It's a lot of fun, but it's too hard on me to get all psyched and hope we've got a shot only to get sent home Friday night.

Is that a 4x10 -- maybe a 4x8 -- cab on the bottom?!?!?!
Awesome! 7 watts into one 10", I can have it voiced like a Vox, AND made of oil-rubbed mahogany to match the Zencaster? And the price is $650???!??
If these amps sound as good as they look, I gotta have one right now.
sabby, They'll build you whatever you want, but I think that one is 12's. The web site says they handle 10's and 12's in 1, 2, or 4 configs as well as a 1X15". I'd bet they'd make you an 4X8" if you supplied the speakers.
There's whole page on custom enclosures.

The "Adaptomatic" 6SL7 pre-amp tube adapter looks like a nice little gem.
TOO COOL!!!
I've been exchaging a few emails with Josh at Electrosonic about his amps. I was looking for sound files, & there weren't any. I tried some of the band links, but they weren't particularly useful.
Josh's deal is that he hasn't posted anything because he works with the customer to customize the amp the way they want it. Sounds like a great guy to do business with, but there's no "try before you buy" option, or any way to hear what you're asking for before you pull the trigger.
On the plus side, his stuff looks great & gets good reviews...
I'm thinking of something new in the amp department for this coming year... that Solaris is looking pretty sweet right now...
