Some look like pecans and carrying them to my porch. Climbing up into my HUGE potted fern and digging to burry the nuts. I hate to inform the little critter, that I take that fern in doors when temps drop to 40 degrees outside. He will have to knock on the door for sure if he wants his winter stash when it gets cold!

For long enough I have done the best I can to hide my lumps and bumps that occur at the "wrong" places. For long enough I have remained in baggy clothes, hiding behind my "skater" persona.
Looking back in my formative/teenage years - it's like a part of me just stopped growing from about may be 14 onwards. Could it have been my parents' divorce, excerbated by further marital problems that my mother experienced? Or could it have been being uprooted from the place I so loved?
Well, all that's happened long enough ago now. And I am lucky that my homeland still exists on the map.
Anyhow - I still love my snowboarding. I still love all the flavours of music that I have access to. Just because I deliberately dress differently from convention in order to prevent myself from being associated with lustful-nymphomaniac-man-eaters, doesn't mean I can't look good. Prettiness is not a privilege for vain, unsophiscated bitches. Jeez has it taken me a long time to come to terms with that.

...checking in before we move again. We are on the road in a hour for Sealy TX. We have moved now 3 times. Praying we get to go home soon. Got to see my house for the first time yesterday in just over a week. BMT is pretty torn up. Lots of things will be changing in the near future. It is going to be neat to watch what comes back and what doesn't.
...going to try to check in more often once we get to our FEMA accmodations and get my computer equipt set up. I am on a loaner right now.

...in Sealy Texas. We are hold up in a hotel for at least one week, but I have my computer and a mini-version of my office at home. I can now work and keep in touch with the rest of the world.
3/4's of Doc's company is here in the same hotel and they have turned the Hotel conference room into there new office. They are back in business as of today and ironically ... so am I.
