Jonnda asked me to do this.
Here are the specifications.
* Telecaster neck pickup
* Johnson J-Station in Blackface mode. No changes between pedals.
Compression on, slight reverb, no other effects.
* Ibanez TS9DX set in the TS9 mode only. Anything else would not be fair.
* Arion Tubulator and TS9 set at similar distortion, tone, and gain levels.
* Mixer between the J-Station and the computer only as an interface.
* Backing track, Moonpie's Perdikament.
If your computer is setup like mine then the TS9 leads off on the left channel, with the Tubulator alternating in the right channel.
Some computers may be reversed, but in any case, the TS9 starts first with the Tubulator alternating.
I don't have the Tubulator box anymore, but it used to say something like "Copyright Striker Industries". The Snarling Dog's people. I think the initial circuit license was from them.
TS9 vs. Tubulator MP3
Strange, but I can't perceive any tone suckage in bypass mode on the Tubulator, and this pedal, though plastic, does not pick up a radio station like my other plastic pedals did.
The only complaint I had on the Tubulator is not enough distortion. That's where the TS9DX leaps forward with it's "Turbo" modes.
