Daphne Blue EJ Strat....

Got ahold of an EJ that the previous owner wasn't very kind to...a bit beaten up and Candy Apple Red - perfect candidate for a refin

Off she went to a local builder who's starting to shoot paint and back she came dripping in Daphne Blue nitro...add mint green pickguard and she's ready for the Prom.

Freaking killer.





The neck is an EJ I picked up locally thats just magic, sold the one that was on this body. Also replaced the EJ serialized neck plated with a Fender Corona plate thats about twice as thick as the EJ stock plate.

New paint, new pick guard, new neck plate....amazing guitar.

Nice lookin paint there! & I see a hint of figure in that maple, too.
When the EJ models first came out I read that they were all supposed to have flamed maple necks. Looks to me that not too many do.

Thanks for the comments guys, this guitar is awesome. It's funny, when I pop open the case it hits me just how blue it is. I couldn't be happier with the results...
