Serious gas for a thin skin CS 57 NOS in black.
BUT they only seem to come with those skinny vintage frets
EJ model in black has it all, but no CS vibe.
I have a sunburst EJ so I was looking at something a bit different.
FWIW I really like my EJ.

Serious vibe in the '56!
The frets are nice with very good fret work and a bone nut.
You can't beat the neck either.
This is my two cents. My EJ is Black, and it is beautiful. The vintage color of the fingerboard looks awsome with the black. However, that being said, the next Strat I am after is either a CS '56 or an AV54 Thin Skin. If I were you I would go after one that you do not have yet, and the '56 is a little cooler to me than the '57.
Had a '57 that I sold for my '56.
While the '57 was great it was a good move.
Also the '54 Thinskin has the same pups as the CS 56 (CS 50's),.and is cheaper. Besides,..if you don't like the "skinny"/vintage frets on the '57,..you can still get a Thinskin '57 with the 6105 frets...
6105s... nice!!!
OK I had an original 56 with sharp V neck and I am used to it.
So they have 54, 56 and 57 in black? If not I'll go with what i can get with the bigger frets
54's are only in 2tone,..WildWood has one '57 Thinskin left in Black (on the web site)
