Anybody ever try on of these guitars? How does it compare to a Fender in terms of quality, intonation and tone?

I bought one of the XV800's once (like a Tele). Very nice quality for the money. They supposedly use kiln dried wood and I know they use very nice hardware and acceptable electronics. Never tried the P90's though but I bet they rock hard. LB.

I almost like it......

It seriously looks like they took it off the bench before it was done....

but it looks good "so far" i think a nice yellow'd pickguard would work well - or yellow'd Perloid.

I love the way out colors! That surf green is my favorite all time color!

I saw a Squier 51 re finished in surf green.. It was perfect!

I'm not sure they could do the typical burst or a trans-blonde on poplar w/o a laminate top and back.
The grain is not naturally very high contrast, and is greenish.

One of these might damn cool to Jr-ize.
