Third Party Opinion Needed

I just want to get
an honest third party opinion before I decide to through this one.
I am currently looking to trade my guitar..

to a equally condition USA Fender Precision Bass.

Now, here's the third party opinion will come in.
First I dont really know what to look for coz this will be my first Bass guitar.
What to ask. I can see that it was made in USA.
Other than that I am really clueless.
So please help.

His ad doesn't sound likie he's looking for a guitar. I wouldn't trade away a good Strat for that bass anyway.
I like a plain ol' P-bass anyway. or a nice Jazz bass.....American made.
Maybe not what you wanted to hear, so ymmv.
