Very cool. Sam Ash exclusive?
Several guitars in different colors
Things to make them fuzzy
Things to make them louder
orange picks
i might be too weak to resist this.
you can't buy an unfinished pine body for that price!
Imanidiot.
missed the pine body? says basswood...
The link hits another instrument now.
Although that DuoSonic looks pretty darn tasty, too.

That DuoSonic is awesome!
Is this the Tele?
Pretty neat.

Was/is that the one with the Agathis body ??
Great price.
I have decided to be happy because it's good for my health.

Here it is at the Squier website.
i want that duo sonic. any idea on where to get one?
did a search and nothing came up, but i found it manually.
Oh wow...that Tele is the bomb!
Squier Teles have always felt good when I picked them up.

Sam Ash must do something really weird with their URLs, because now the link Neo posted points to a Strat.
Since that Classic Vibe pine Tele is on Squier's site, can we assume it's not a Sam Ash exclusive? I really hate how Sam Ash will claim something's in stock on their web site, take your order, charge your credit card, THEN tell you "it's not in stock right now, but we'll have more in two weeks...maybe."

Its not a Sam Ash exclusive I ordered one from a dealer I get all my Fenders from.

Good deal. Thanks for the info.
This is a Tele I could see myself buying. I've got a late-model Squier Strat, so I know they're decent guitars. And that one's got a finish I really like, and a black pickguard, and a "real" Tele box bridge with three brass saddles.
All good stuff. Plus, I'm intrigued by the pine body. And the price would mean I could have a Tele a lot sooner than if I waited until I could buy a Fender...especially one with that type of bridge.
Please post a review when you get yours! And clips.

marcondo,
YOU MUST REPORT BACK ON THE PICKUPS... i have some A3 mag pups, i love them, i just wonder how badass the stockers can be.
love, and best regards,

A Natural one would rock ...something like this :

I've been following this guitar a lot lately, and came across a non-stock photo of one:
Folks are sayin' that this is even better looking in person. And it feels great. Electronics are slightly under par, but it's a $300 Squier, after all. I also read it's a not-too-fat C neck.
I think this is the first Tele for me...gotta wait for lots of them to get in stock though...oh yeah, and raise the dough.

TJ, that would be the money shot.
Might be my first Tele, too, TJ! But I predict these guitars are going to be hard to get for a while.

This was way way better than I thought it was gonna be.
The electronics are dead silent zero 60 cycle hum.
The frets are like Gibsons lower than the 6105's they are reaally finished nicely. Air tight neck pocket and this thing plays so easy its unreal.
best $300 I ever spent in my life.
Wow!
All this excitement over a $300 Squier!
You'd never see this much action if you posted pics of an Epi Les Paul over on the LPF! That's what I love about this place...you all seem to know that a good guitar's a good guitar no matter what the name on the headstock...
"I'm gonna find myself a girl
that can show me what laughter means
And we'll fill in the missing colors
In each other's paint-by-number dreams..."
It looks awesome. Great phtots.
Cripes!
How does the neck feel?
Does it have a chunkiness that gives it a "Classic Vibe," or is that attained more by the nice amber tint and spaghetti logo?

The wheels are turning.... what kind of route is under that guard? Room for a bucker up top by chance??
I have already made plans to order one. Oh yes, it WILL be happening SOON!
These pics just make me want to do it sooner.

Great looking guitar!
I notice the end of the bridge pup route is just barely visible at the edge of the bridge. Is that fairly common with Telecasters?

Thanks. I thought I'd seen that "feature" on Teles before, but I wasn't sure.

Now I'm in deep doo-doo! Thanks!
Wait... maybe it's just a shallow puddle at this price.
3 tanks of gas in an SUV or a 50's Classic Vibe Tele.
Do they come with the shielding paint on them, or was this done by your friend?
I'm long past sold...gonna finish up the few projects I'm involved with and get one. Whom did you order through, Marcondo?

I wouldn't be surprised if it came with the shielding paint. The Indonesian Squier Strat I bought a couple of years ago has the shielding paint inside. That Tele's route is a lot cleaner than my Strat's was, though.
I thought my next guitar would be some kind of dual-humbucker, LP-type...but geez...I've been wanting a Tele, too, and and this one's going for $300 everywhere. Very tempting....

Cool score! I bet it sounds reeeeeally good with those Alnico II PUs. I bought my drummer a used classic 50s ash Tele, put a blackguard on it and swapped out the tinny sounding alnico V PUs for a pair of overwound Alnico IIIs (Tonerider Hot Classics - $45 for a set!) and it went from ho-hum to WOW. I been dying to try some alnico II or III in my #1, but I'm afraid to change anything... :-)
