    Fender Flood Control

We got hammered with rain in Chicago. Probably effects of hurricane Ike. Many basements have flodded. I really feel for those people and those dealing with the hurricane.

I thought of a pretty good idea to keep the guitars safe and I may want to patent it. I call it my Fender Flood Protecter. Although it works on most models.

Cool. And the bass on the left just needs a tiny Yanmar engine to carry the whole thing to the high ground!

Just get a pair of oars, could be mandolins, ukes, etc if real oars cannot be found, and take off on that upright to find dry land.

Also, anchors can be found right next to the oars in case you need to stop for some refreshment.

I actually had an all fiberglass upright. The only good thing about it was that it was somewhat waterproof so it held up during rainy camping trips. I could have attached a small outboard motor to it.
