does anybody know what a limited edition Jimi Hendrix Custom Shop Strat painted like his Monterey Strat would be worth? Even any links to info about it would be appreciated.

GPG has one on commision (#1/200) for $12,000. When I asked Rick about it he told be flat-out that he thought it was overpriced, but since it's on commision there's nothing he can do. I like it because it's number one, but for $12,000 I'll buy a NICE vintage '50s strat or a '50s player LP.

If it's any help,I sold one last year for $5500. It was mint.
You should be able to find one for less than $12,000.

J.B.: In all fairness the guitar does look very nice in person. However, $12,000 is still too much. For that you should get a brazilian board and original electronics. ;)
