In all seriousness, you're not missing much. At least the people who frequent message boards (such as this one) try to stay on track, by leaving posted messages about certain topics, intelligently (most of the time anyway). Most I've seen take place in chat rooms is sheer nonsense and immaturity, talking kid stuff and people wasting time.
Quite by accident I found a french/quebec chat room.
My french is....well..."provincial" at best.
