Very cool!
Loverly, for sure. I just dig those headstocks.
If we'd known we were going to be the Beatles, we'd have tried harder.--George Harrison
Nice!
I've got the MIM version from MF.
Music will always find its way to us, with or without business, politics, religion, or any other bull$hit attached. - E.C.
I have a John Jorgensen hellecatser with the same headstock and left hand designation,, The e-string does sound different reversed. in essence it requires more tension to achieve pitch as the distance of the string is longer
Call me odd, just because I am.
Seems a true Hendrix for a right handed guitarist would be a lefty strung right handed.
Otherwise you just have a reverse headstock strat, right?
An original:
I tried one, It sounded nice enough but it confused me ! It's a reverse headstock, reverse angle bridge pickup Strat, and surely, part of Jimi's sound was that the balance of the pick ups would be different to normal with having right handed pickups on a guitar strung left handed (pole piece heights all "wrong"?)
When You point your finger 'cause your plan fell through, you've got 3 more fingers pointing back at you.
The idea behind this Strat is to give you most of the feel and tone of a reverse strung Strat w/o the wierdness of a reversed body and controls.
I like the concept a lot.
The first voodoo was a left hand neck upside down with a RH body
This model was discontinued because of a dispute with the hendrix family and estate, The next version actually was a lefty strung right
I believe
Excellent guitars. I own four of them (Three Tone Burst, White and Black w/Maple Neck) and one White with Rosewood neck.
Necks are very large U shape and there is a definite difference in sound from a regular strat due to the bridge pickup angle switched.
Hello all!
Believe what you will about the LH p/u output of a reverse string configuration. My '02 mim body has enough room, in the individual p/up routs, to reverse the p/ups on a stock pickguard in the mid and the bridge positions. The neck p/u wasn't switched. So, you get the inverted p/u arrangement w/out switching body hand. My '02 mim body is routed for ssh, but it seems more liberal than that, unlike a specific sss, (avri62). RIP Jimi

I almost owned one until the shop I had it on laway forged the date and signature so they could sell my layaway to someone else before i could come up with the cash
very cool guitars indeed
