    Custom Shop Jazz Basses...

    Hey all,

    I was wondering if anyone has any advice in locating the best deal on a Custom SHop '60's Jazz bass. They seem to be pretty rare, but I'd like to know I have searched all of them out.

    What I'd really like to find is a low milage used instument, but I haven't seen even one of those for sale.

    Any suggestions?

    It's just a thought, but...

    I built a nice one from wood I bought at USA Custom Guitars in Washington. For about a grand I think you can build a superior guitar. You can get things like brazilian rosewood on the fingerboard and real laquer finish, a deeper neck profile, etc....plus it's kind of fun.
