open g string buzz - driving me crazy. I didn't notice it until I got a different thicker neck.
Set up floating, I have pressed on the springs, pinched at the nut, pushed in on the intonation screw... When I put my ear down at the bridge, I am convinced that is the buzz generator.
I can squeeze in on the saddles and make it stop.
How do I make this go away?
Thoughts?
Ideas?

Are the outside springs angled with the center one straight?
That can cause a coil bind on the center.

I fixed this. I was able to squeeze all the saddles together and get it to stop buzzing. So, I slightly angled the saddle with the two height adjustment screws. By slightly throwing them 'off horizontal' this made the saddle take up more space making firm contact with the saddle next to it. I did this to two saddles. It didn't take much, maybe 1/4 turn up on one 1/4 turn down on the other. Buzz gone.
