No shame in that guitar.
I forget, and I think many guitarists do as well, that other brands offer some quality instruments.

Yes. It's a Dinky. It's not one of the really expensive ones, though.
But, the USA SL2H Soloists are exceptional guitars. They are well outside my budget.

I hate you, Smitty!
Just kidding, man! You made me GAS for a Jackson too.
I believe it's a Dinky JS32q archtop quilted superstrat.
Please tell me what you thought of the pickups and playability when you get your hands on it, I will probably get myself one in dark grey or black, they seem to be quite a nice bang for the buck!
You are correct, sir. It's just the cheapie Dinky, but it has pretty good reviews. Arch top quilted for $299.00 at Sweetwater. Quite a deal.
Yeap! Probably buying one myself, just not the same color, as I am a bit fond of grey superstrats...
Nice!
Thanks, Lure.
I graduated high school in the mid-80s, when Charvel and Jackson were really starting to rise in popularity. In fact, in college, I can't recall a single other guitar-playing college-mate who wanted anything other than Kramer, Charvel, or Jackson. These high-powered superstrats were the rage. Floyd Rose or Kahler were considered to be essential equipment. So, in a way, this is a revisiting of my younger days. I'm sure that ties into my enthusiasm, somewhat.

Well, de Melo, I guess it's up to you, Kenny, and me to revive the popularity of the SuperStrat!
Given that Fender now owns Charvel and Jackson, that should be easy!
(hint: we need a Charvel and Jackson sub-forum on the Fender Forum, since the labels are owned by Fender. No other Fender forum that I've seen includes those brands. It would set this forum apart!)
I just checked Fedex tracking. It's on the truck for delivery today!
Spandex and bangle bracelets would go with that nicely ;)
CONGRATS wild man........just don't play with your Dinky too much it will fall off.....
