Manny Pacquiao will fight Floyd Mayweather in a couple of minutes. I'll grab a coca cola and enjoy it on TV, I like boxing a lot, even boxed as an amateur at a local gym...

It's going to be exciting. Wish I could see it.
If we'd known we were going to be the Beatles, we'd have tried harder.--George Harrison
Used to watch the fights on the TV as a kid when the old man at the post let us kids in to watch 'em. That's what inspired me to box when I got in the army. Fought Lt. Heavyweight on the Army Boxing Team when I was stateside. 52-1-2, 39 by KO. But that was LONG ago. Today I might take on an anemic octogenarian with an oxygen bottle in a wheelchair! If it doesn't go longer than 20 seconds I might just have a chance! Beyond that I'm outta gas and reaching for the nitro!
My all-time super boxing hero is Archie Moore. He was the best I ever saw.
Sorta lost interest in boxing after the incident involving the ear biting and such by Tyson. It just got outta hand and too much hype and nonsense. The real boxers were back in the "old days".
I forgot what I was going to say...
I loved watching Ali box--almost as much as I liked watching him wind up the press and his opponents.

Ali was very fluid and his timing with his punches were nearly flawless every time. His footwork was unbelievable too. When he stopped clowning around and got serious in the ring he was unstoppable.

Although I only boxed as an amateur, I was always afraid I'd get dull hands due to the work on the heavy bag and such...
Luckily I stopped before I noticed any damage, but I always took care of my hands, wrapped them properly and stuff... I liked it though, had lots of fun in the ring at the gym.
Ali's footwork was brilliant. And who can forget the rope-a-dope?

Indeed so. That man had style when it came to being out there and different. He got results that many seldom dream of. The "Ali Shuffle" has been seen since by others, but hey, they're just fakin' it but Ali was the real deal huh?

Larry Holmes was an intelligent and articulate man that was very smooth and calculating in the ring. A true boxer and not a brawler like those you see today. He faded into obscurity as do many that don't make fools of themselves like Spinks and Tyson and others. Guys like Holmes, Ali, Joe Lewis, Floyd Patterson, James Braddock, and the like will never be seen again.

Bummer. I was rooting for Manny.
