The collection needs a Pelham Blue example to be credible......
Nice trio, Alex!

Only thing wrong with those SGs is that 1) they're not left handed and 2) they don't belong to me.
I have such SG OCD at the moment. Love your SGs. Nice.

LOVELY trio of tone ya got there!!!!
---not to change the subject---(who ME?!?!?!) I got my first chance to play one of those mechanical drumsets yesterday....and was very surprised at the "real feel" of the heads and all ....great kit I LOVE drums but the noise level of a standard kit is just "too much" at my age---and with all the critters and stuff ----hurts their ears and all.
But this electro drum stuff could have merit.
How you like yours Alex???

I find the electronic drum kit great... It doesn't have the "real" feel of skins (it's actually very rubbery and dead feeling...) but if you can get used to that, it actually sounds really good.
It can be run through headphones or an amp too.
I was running it through a little 10W SS Epiphone amp, but now it's running through a 15W Marshall SS, and it's cooking!
You can also plug your ipod in and play along to some of your favourite tunes.
The Marshall has really opened up the bass, and I'm loving it! I was playing along to some Quicksilver Messenger Service and The Doors yesterday, and had a blast.

Awesome......yes the Guitar Center had one plugged up to a specific (expensive) drum amp (never thought I would see the day) think it was a Simmons brand or some such thing....all kicked back like a bass amp......with about a bazillion knobs and lights and crap on it.......but it was ....well REALLY good.
I might have to snag one of them one day. ;)

My drummer picked up a nice Roland TD11K electronic kit (about $1200 or so, so it wasn't cheap) but it's really brought the overall volume of the band to much more manageable levels. I gig with a 15-watt Vox AC15 or a Fender Blues Jr. and it's been a rare occasion when I can even get those small amps above 2 or 3 on the volume taper.
My ears and voice are ecstatic because I don't have to strain to hear my voice...
"I'm gonna find myself a girl
that can show me what laughter means
And we'll fill in the missing colors
In each other's paint-by-number dreams..."
That is VERY cool!
