Ha ha. Same. Waiting until 9am to mow; have to finish before the rain gets here or I'll have bungle in the jungle.

Pouring down rain..... AGAIN! Like for the past month and a half, rain!
It's rained so much that my dogs have grown webbed feet!
So I sit at the computer. Slug down some coffee. Read the posts here and add yet another day I'm cooped up inside this tiny old place with my psychotic cats and their idiot behavior. For some reason my Miss Pearl has decided it's her mission to pester old Sammy (15 years old and grumpy like me) and the two are at it non-stop. The only thing that she hates is when I switch on an amp. That gives me an idea....
I forgot what I was going to say...
Started laundry - did a few things and then had to go to do sound for a private party -
friends band played - I got to sit in, they had a playlist of new music that they wanted to play for the younger folks at the party, but forgot it.
Good thing my lap top has a lot of classic rock and blues - thats what they get for leaving it up to me!
Ate well - Paid - tore down - loaded out and home by 6 pm. A success story if I ever heard one!

A lazy, sunny day here......perfect for punking out and doing absolutely nothing.
I did manage to brew up a platoon-sized pot of my "everything-but-the-kitchen-sink" beef-and-vegetable soup so there's something tasty for supper. Afterwards I'm going to crap out on the couch and watch some B-grade sci-fi flicks.
Life is good!

Did get some yard work done....and an early morning raid on the Sunday "marked downs" at the grocery meat cooler saved about 40.00
YEP I am a CHEAP bastard and damn proud of it......washed the car........did some other crap.

Y'all have a good week!
It was my 59th birthday. Both sons and their wives (and my brilliant grandson) all came up. Burgers, brats, booze (#1 son gave me a bottle of 15 year old single malt and we killed half of it), and bacon-wrapped jalapeños charred on the grill. I blew off my diet (a couple days of elevated blood sugar isn't gonna kill me) and went nuts. Had a superb time. I'm working on music for Noah's next game, Aiden's business is on fire, the baby is awesome (starting to talk!), the weather was perfect. Sweet.
Happy Birthday, Jim!
Mine was a week ago.
Hope you have forty or fifty more.

We were at our nephew's wedding in Stowe, VT all weekend. It was a beautiful weekend and a beautiful wedding! There were only 23 guests- just close family. Boy, did we eat!
I'm a little late to the thread, but I played Sunday morning...just a few songs. I also enjoyed some coffee and family time.
Thanks for the thread de Melo!
Thank YOU for the spirit, Smitty and all the others.
The sunday mawning coffee thread is a tradition here, and I will help y'all with it.
Besides, this board is indeed like a family, we are supposed to share our good and bad times.
As for me, I'm looking forward to presenting you partners my latest acquisition, a 90s Fender...
Thank YOU, Smitty and all
