Oh, dear, have to choose a new avatar

my sweet hard tail has moved onto its next destination, once it is confirmed to arrive and the buyer is (and almost undoubtedly will be) satisfied, I will retire my current avatar. I currently have no Fender guitar but for my parts caster and squiers. *damn you auto-correct*

Partscasters are legit Strats and Teles to me. After all, parts iz parts iz parts.

    No Stratocaster???

Good Lord, that's like a carpenter who doesn't own a hammer or a physician who doesn't own a stethoscope!

No kidding, I've always felt that if I had one guitar, it would have to be a Strat because of the super versatility. I'm a Tele guy as much as a Strat guy, but yeah, the Strat is an essential tool, partscaster or Fender Strat.

I used to be a Gibson worshipper. Then I accepted the Lord and now I walk the path of light: I am now a Fender man who knows the versatility of the strat. Hallelujah!

I've got most of the parts to make another strat, just need a body and a neck plate and screws. maybe the strap buttons. I've got a hankering for a black nitro thin skin over an aztec gold so gold shows when the black wears. No artificial aging. Strictly natural. rosewood fingerboard, red pearl pick guard, white plastic, vintage tuners and bridge.

I am a pan-guitarist and worship at the altars of great guitars no matter the moniker. But the Strat is to that pantheon as Aphrodite is to Greek pantheism.

In other woids, I likes me some guitarz.

That sounds great. it also sounds like you need to get to work on it. I really want to see this guitar made. Good luck with it.

I'm a Tele guy, no offense to you Strat lovers. And I'll let you in on a little secret... My Jazzmaster is just an ugly CAR Tele... Shhhh! Don't tell anyone... Seriously, it is.

Teles and Lesters are saints too, they just can't replace or diminish the holiness of the Strat.
