    VM Squier Jag bridge qustion...

So, I got one of these:

I'm setting it up and have a bridge question: when you set the intonation on these, what position do you place the bridge in? You know, it rocks back and forth. Do you push it all the way forward? Do you push it back? Middle? It seems to me it should be all the way back, but I don't really know. What do those that have the VM Squier Jag do?

Set it all the way to the back.

When you're done shaking the bar, pull it back.

It should come back pretty close to in tune.
    What happend?

I swapped mine for a mustang bridge. And dropped it flat on the deck.....no rocking......

I had custom thimbles made for my Jazzmaster so the bridge doesn't tilt. Also, swapped in a Mustang bridge that I ground the lip off of and flipped.

    That's a pretty guitar!

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm still working on the set up. Intonation and saddle adjustments are done. Playing pretty well now. I picked up a set of replacement saddles (Mustang type) and still deciding whether to put them in or not. I'll see how it goes.

And yea, I love the surf green!!
