One of my favorite bassists is Nathan East, who plays on one of my favorite live albums--Clapton's 24 Nights. Of course, his work with Clapton, Phil Collins, George Harrison, and others is amazing. He's a quiet monster.

I first became aware of Nathan East through his awesome playing with the jazz group Fourplay. He tops my list of current favorite bass players.
I liked the little ad blurb at the bottom for shows tomorrow and monday, 75 to 500 dollars. Ya mean EC didn't sell out MSG already?dang, you don't know how much longer he's going to get out to do shows anymore. better see him while you can
I just went back and listened to Clapton's latest, I Still Do.
I shrugged my shoulders the first time I heard it. It's pretty great stuff after all. I don't know if Nathan East is playing on it.
