Nice looking instruments for sure!
Far nicer than a hack like me will ever have -
definitely post pics when you get it - maybe some video in use.
Curious - what are you playing it through?

It will be played through (mostly) a Bergantino B-AMP or a Bassman clone.
Looks so nice, and in the video, killer tone. That is one serious bass.

Sweet! I'm not usually a fan of that spalted grain, but it looks great on yours.
Me neither, but I have to admit I had never seen it with the flame and grain continuing THROUGH the spalting. Usually on the pieces I have seen it was like the spalted sections were like mud over the grain and flame. On this they both go through it. Add to that I have never seen anybody do a better job of finishing to capture the flame than these guys. The last pic is not even buffed yet so it should be outstanding.
Got this shortly after the above post. Aguilar Jazz style pickups. Volume Volume Tone. Very punchy when volumes up all the way and backs off very nicely. Piano like with Tone on 10 backs down to more standard EB tones. Neck is more mellow and bridge is very bright if up on 10. No dead spots I can find. Rings very nicely and the neck is a joy. Soft V Neck with a Brazilian board and reclaimed Honduran Mahogany neck. Under 8# yet has very good sustain. I am very happy with this little monster.
Beautiful!
