It's a"modern take on an old classic" . A "60's" strat introduced in a 2015 edition from the custom shop. Not a reissue but Fender's take of Best of old and new features. Mike Lewis of fender has a good video on youtube. Check it out! It not shipped yet. Don't expect it for a few weeks. We'll see!
hmm, I've got the big six oh coming up this year. I'd like to build my next guitar and I want it to be a strat. I've got a build in progress on a bass but that's a done deal as far as I'm concerned. Only need to get the workshop running and the bass is good as done.
I'd love to have 3 different guitar tones and a bass to do recording with

It doesn't get much more beautiful than that, Sir... Enjoy ang play it a LOT.
Almost all the '65 RI guitars I've seen position the decal too far forward so the last "r" in Stratocaster falls near or past the B string tuner post. These models have the decal well placed & more like the majority of vintage Strats w/the larger "transition" logo. Just a small cosmetic detail but one I like
