Stanley Clarke is trying to get Fender to make a Stratocaster Bass. I'm not sure I'd be interested, even if they made one in lefty, but here's an interesting article that mentions the bass.

Would you want one? I'd be more interested in a Telecaster Bass like they made in the 70s--had one, but it was a righty, so I had very little access toward the end of the neck.
