Gibson won't be producing any lefty semi-hollows or hollows anytime soon, so just for shitz and giggles and my love of The Beatles--and i hear Chinese or no, it's a great edition, and the P90s are supposed to be excellent for Jazz. I'm hoping it works out. I had an Epiphone Joe Pass once. Great sounding guitar once I put Gibson 57 Classics in it. From the reviews I've read, I might not need to replace the pickup and wiring.

I think I might have already given a review. I haven't gotten a lot of time playing it with my son here and working from the house long hours.
But with the little time I've had with it, I'm pleased. A very comfortable guitar to play. It's obviously not a $2200 Gibson, but for a Chinese instrument, it sounds great. Lot of basswood in it. Very happy with the pups.
I was hoping to be able to coax jazz tones out of it, and I can. It'd be interesting one day to put flats on it to see what I get out of it. For now, I'm just going to play it and get used to it. First impressions are all good though.

I like that strap too, and I can't for the life of me remember where I got it online. I figured it was Sweetwater, but couldn't find it in my orders. Wasn't Amazon either. It is my fave of all my straps.
