Well, welcome.
Will you stay or will you stay gone?
Well, I was mistaken, I popped in here in 2020.
...you get the idea.

My latest projects now go 'pew pew'.
Haven't done much amp stuff since the BFPR. Life got stupid crazy, I killed all my social media, but I survived and am in a good spot back on my feet again.
Kinda want to do a BF Super Reverb sometime soon now that I make good moneys.

I've been in Cyber Security for the last 6 years now, and our company is a leading cloud security provider. The Russian State actors are no joke - they target us all the time. But it got to the point that you can't have your name out there anymore.
My name isn't common so a quick Google of my name will pull up who I work for, my email address, what security conferences I've presented at, etc. - all on the first page of hits. Started seeing some really weird extortion stuff directed at 'embarrassing me' to my family and friends. Knowing how leapfrog attacks go, I said enough is enough and deleted FB and IG.
Tube amps are so much more pure. lol

It's been said the Internet is like an iceberg: Most folks only see the 10% that's above the water line.
Some statistics (which vary from source to source and from day to day). I worked for Symantec for ten years. The company is a leader in the anti-malware space:
94% of malware is delivered through email.
47.3% of all emails in 2020 were spam.
Google's Gmail service blocks over 100,000,000 phishing emails every day.Findings from the 2021 Spamhaus report include the top 10 most problematic countries in the world. The order goes by the number of live spam issues at the time of the report:
China (3,332)
US (3,130)
Russia (786)
Japan (389)
The Republic of Korea (386)
India (357)
Turkey (342)
Hong Kong (317)
Vietnam (284)
Dominican Republic (249).
That's just spam. Malware attacks are another thing altogether.
In 2021, businesses in the US and UK were hit the hardest by ransomware, with 52% and 51% of companies impacted, respectively.
Most (approximately 60%) businesses are understaffed in cyber security.
There's a lot more. Reports and statistics are widely available (some of the above came from here). But the whole "dark web" stuff is real and not a myth. If you don't mind becoming a target, launch a TOR browser. But before you do, you might want to following the guidance on it, or you will be sending a high-intensity beacon for those will want to ruin your life.
