    Speaking of 'is a US Fender still a Fender?'...

    Just read this comparison between the MiM 'Player Series' Stratocaster and the SE version of the PRS Silver Sky on Guitar World. The Silver Sky is often regarded as the quintessential Strat-shaped object of modern days. Anyway, I wasn't surprised by the conclusions of the article: A Fender strat remains being essentially a Fender strat, qualitywise.

    If it's all the same to you, I'll stick with "the most imitated electric guitar in history"......the Fender Strat.

    Precisely. Or else, nobody with contract issues would need to ask PRS to build... a strat. Right?
