I wouldn't let it go if it weren't necessary, but it is and it is. I really don't need or want two Strats for what I do.
The 2008 is an excellent Strat. Of all the Strats I've played, it's got the smoothest and fastest neck. I put Fender 57/62s in it, and I really love those pickups. It sounds a lot like Blackie, at least to my ears.
Honestly, I think it'll hurt when this one goes. At one point, it was the only decent guitar that I had.
