    Compare: Van Zandt Vintage+ with Fralin Vintage Hots>Neck Pickup

    I'm just curious about the neck pickups. Is there much difference?

    i have both,but i think they sound very close to each other.the fralins maybe a little clearer, but i love both!!

    The Van Zandts have more bass and sound louder.

    The Fralins have a touch more sparkle, less bass and a tighter, more focused midrange.

    The Fralins have more glass and sparkle and have that Little Wing tone. The VZ's have a harder edge to their sound a little more in your face than the Fralins.
