I just acquired an Electric XII . It came in a Jazz Bass case which is too long . A Tele/Strat case is too short . Does anyone know what my options are ? Mustang Bass case perhaps ?

My Gibson SB450 bass came in a case that was both too deep and too long. I put a piece of foam rubber under the body and also at the bottom of the case so it now fits snugly in the case. Not ideal, but I have gigged with it many times with no issues. At least a possible solution until you find the proper case.

A Jaguar/Jazzmaster case may work.

??? I have a Stratocaster XII and it fits easily into a G&C Tweed case. Musician's Friend just had (and repeats regularly) their Stupid Deal of the Day for such a case.
Perhaps yours is modified or otherwise non-stock?
(Sorry, I didn't remove the strap before putting it in the case, but you can see it fits).

The Electric XII is based on the Jazzmaster body which is wider than the Strat across the body's lower bouts.

Thank you for your sharing,That's pretty cool.

This might be a better fit for your Electric XII than a Jazz Bass case.

My Fender Jaguar and Jazzmaster G&G cases have absolutely no additional room at the top of the headstock area to accommodate the extra length of the longer "hockey stick" headstock on the Electric XII.
