I’ve just purchased a JM signature Jaguar 2015, and it has a chrome cover over the bridge. The seller said it came with the guitar. However I can’t find any other Jags with it fitted or any JM pics/videos that show it. Can anyone confirm it’s a genuine fit? I don’t have any issues with it, in fact it’s great as a palm rest!
As Leo designed them, all of his guitars came standard with a removable bridge cover -- from the Duo-Sonic to the Jazzmaster and Jaguar. Even the his basses came so equipped though their removal required a philips screwdriver.

Leaving the cover in place makes palm-muting difficult.
Looks cool though with the guitar perched on a stand or hanging on the wall.
