Do a search on Kloppmann and a couple seem to show up.

    IIRC it's 62's.

Andeas has sound samples on his site but it sounds like my friend and past collaborator Rainer G. is playing them and he can make anything sound good. Pretty sure those samples are coming from a Fractal too, so it's not going to sound like that coming from a Blues Jr in a bedroom, lol!

Over the years I've come to realize that pickups are maybe 5% of how a good guitar sounds, so don't obsess over it. I performed a show this weekend with a $22 Amazon loaded pickguard and it sounded great. It's all about what you plug into.

If you're set on Kloppmans I'd contact them and describe what, where and how you play. That said, I don't think you need to spend that much to have a great guitar.

Great pickups, but pickups aren't magic despite what the people selling them want you to believe. I remember Peter Frampton saying he has no idea what pups are now in the Phenix, he doesn't care and he said with that guitar it doesn't matter. It's just a "good one." When I built my burst Les Paul I originally had some nothing special pups in it. Switched them to Burstbuckers and it sounded pretty much the same (aka awesome!) give or take one number on the EQ. Since I'm flush with some really good humbucker LP's I switched it to cheap import P94s and it's a rip-snorting beast with pickups that probably cost less than the knobs did.
