I knew it would be a ?fun? show when we?re loading in and the audience is in tuxes sitting and dining while we?re a bunch of long-haired, blue Jean wearing individuals. It was my smoking days, and I stuck a cigarette under the strings at the nut and then burn the hell out of the neck when I forgot it was there, and the real clue to the night was I broke a D string on the bass first song and there is no backup in the case.
