King of Tone went on Sunday. Had a chance to A/B with the guy's King of Clone.
The King of Clone sounds pretty good. Until you switch on the King of Tone. Smoother, thicker, less raspy.

ayup, ain't going to sell itself. Put a Harman Kardon Soundsticks II system, brand new in box up on FBMP yesterday, within an hour had a guy asking if we could meet that day. Met him 45 minutes later in parking lot of mall 10 minutes from my house. badda boom badda bing.
Now have a pair of JBL 308P mkII up for sale, also NIB never opened. They were going to be my big monitors for my recording setup. If they sell, so be it. I have them priced at 60% of new. If the room gets built and they're still around, I may take the ads down.
Wood and mason prep supplies were delivered this week. I have to start moving my stuff (again). I'm looking at stuff and deciding it's time to sell. I have a lot of stuff I bought and never used, still new in box. It's just that once the room gets built, I'm going to want to start populating it with gear and I don't want to sell stuff just to rebuy it at a higher price later. I guess it depends on how quickly the construction goes. I'm looking at pedals and trying to decide what I want to do.

first sale of 2025, FB listing worked a charm. Meeting buyer tonight in town next door, easy drive for both of us. Selling my 2019 Yamaha LS6 ARE Concert acoustic.
Going to start on the MJT Strat partscaster. This will not sell as fast, I think. I may end up parting it out but I'm going to give it a shot as a whole guitar. I may also sell my 2011 Squier CV60 P bass in fiesta red if the strat sits for long. Sucks that it took 13 years to find and have to leave so soon but hard times call for hard measures.
*just got back from the sale, went smooth. We must have stood out there in 18 degree weather talking for a half hour, gear talk, where the good open mics are. Got a line on a Saturday afternoon blues jam in Dracut MA, going to have to check it out when the weather gets nicer. Sheer coincidence that there's three really good dispensaries there, too![]()

My Heritage Blues Deluxe is officially on the block at a really nice store in Massachusetts. Others are soon to follow.
