I really played a Standard today in preparation. I?ve dabbled withthem in the past but really spend time. The Standard has a Sitka spruce top. The one I got has a Adi top (about 500 upgrade). Current sold prices for used Sitka tops in 1900-2300.
Got this one for 1900. If I don?t bond with it, I can move it with some profit.
not sure where it sits in a mix with a D-18 and D-28. It?s sort of the middle with the one I played today. The fundamental projection of the D-18 with some of the overtones in the upper mids of the D-28
Damn cork sniffing acoustic guitars. We will bond or not. It will inspire me or not.
