    R. I. P. Earl Holliman, 96

    Lying about his age to enlist in the Navy during WWII, he was discharged a year later when it was discovered. He went into acting during the 1950s was a much sought after character. He won a Golden Globe for his role in The Rainmaker (Burt Lancaster, Katharine Hepburn). He was also in the first episode of The Twilight Zone, but is perhaps best remembered for his supporting role to Angie Dickinson in Police Woman. He was 96.

    I remember him being pretty sadistic to Jan Michael-Vincent in "Tribes".
